The Tensor Foundation, supporting the Solana-based NFT marketplace Tensor, has unveiled its roadmap for the TNSR token, marking a significant step towards decentralizing governance and fostering an NFT-centric future. Launched in 2022, Tensor competes closely with platforms like Magic Eden for dominance in the Solana NFT space, currently securing a 33.49% market share. The Foundation envisions a future where NFTs transcend their niche status to become the backbone of products, businesses, and industries worldwide, potentially expanding the community from thousands to billions. Despite not detailing a TNSR token airdrop, Tensor referenced a previous "Season 1 airdrop" that rewarded Solana NFT collectors. The Foundation praised Solana's blockchain for its high throughput, speed, and low fees, essential for the NFT trading infrastructure's scalability and mass adoption. Tensor's protocols have already facilitated over $2 billion in Solana NFT trades, including 70% of the network's NFT trading volume in the past 90 days (excluding wash trading).
