By merging, Strive and Semler Scientific aim to hold nearly 11,000 Bitcoins together

On a crisp autumn morning in September 2025, two unconventional companies—Strive and Semler Scientific—decided to walk a bold new path together. Strive, a rising star in the Bitcoin treasury world, struck a deal: it will acquire Semler Scientific in an all-stock transaction, merging two firms that have each staked claim on Bitcoin as reserve.

As part of the plan, Strive also snapped up 5,816 Bitcoin at an average price of about US$116,047 per coin—spending some US$675 million—bringing its own holdings to 5,886. When the merger completes, the combined company will command nearly 11,000 Bitcoins altogether.

Semler shareholders will receive roughly 21.05 shares of Strive Class A for each Semler share, valuing the deal at about US$90.52 per share—more than double its recent trading price.
