Bitcoin Inflows Hit $703 Million in Past Week
Bitcoin totaled $703 million last week. It accounts for 99% of the total flow recorded during the said period. In addition, short-bitcoin fund movements recorded total outflows worth $5.3 million, a direct indicator of the digital asset's negative price momentum reversal.
Total inflows have locked in $7.7 billion since the spot bitcoin ETF launched on January 11.
Total outflows were also large at $6 billion, locking in a total of about $1.6 billion for the year. The total global amount of assets under management (AUM) has been put at an incredible $53 billion.
Further insights detailed that inflows of $708 million were recorded while the trading volume of exchange-traded products (ETPs) fell to $8.2 billion. This number is historic, as ETP transactions totaled $10.6 billion in the previous week.
