According to Bloomberg, data from Deribit shows that most Bitcoin options activity is focused on call options that expire on January 30 with a $100,000 price target. The total value of these call options is more than twice as large as the value of put options at the $80,000 price level with the same expiration date.

Jake Ostrovskis from Wintermute explained that these positions are not very large, but they mostly point in the same direction. He added that although some investors are still buying protection against price drops (put options), this has decreased, which suggests that fears of a major price decline are reducing and there are early signs that the market is becoming more stable.
