Bitcoin is on the brink of a potential rally to new all-time highs, according to Markus Thielen, head of research at 10x Research. The key resistance level is $67,500, which, if surpassed, could lead to significant gains. Thielen's analysis comes after Bitcoin's price recovered above the $66,000 mark, showing a 7.3% increase over the past week.

Positive inflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have contributed to this upward trend. ETFs saw over $200 million in net inflows recently, a promising sign after three weeks of negative flows. Institutional investment through ETFs has been a driving force behind Bitcoin's current rally.

A breakthrough above $67,500 would not only set new record highs but also trigger the liquidation of nearly $300 million in leveraged short positions across exchanges. Additionally, Tether's recent $1 billion USDT issuance and their plan to invest 15% of net profits in Bitcoin further support bullish momentum.

Tether's acquisition of 8,888 BTC, worth $618 million, highlights its significant role in the market. This move, along with other institutional investments, is expected to boost Bitcoin's price action in the coming weeks, potentially leading to new all-time highs.
