Investment firm Metaplanet has surged as the top gainer in Japanese stocks, with its shares skyrocketing by 158% over the past week. This significant increase follows the company's strategic decision to add Bitcoin to its reserves. Metaplanet’s share price jumped to 93 Japanese yen, marking a 127% rise in just two days. Metaplanet has adopted a strategy similar to MicroStrategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin. Since April 8, Metaplanet has accumulated 117.7 Bitcoins, currently valued at $7.2 million.
