Ripple's President Speaks Out on Groundbreaking Update to XRP Ledger

Ripple's President expressed excitement about the XRP Ledger's (XRPL) new integration with the Axelar network, emphasizing a multichain future. This partnership aims to enhance interoperability across multiple blockchain networks, increasing XRPL's utility by connecting it with over 50 blockchains. The integration will bolster XRPL's DeFi ecosystem with added liquidity for stablecoins and other assets, and enable the development of cross-chain dApps utilizing XRPL's features like its native DEX and upcoming AMM. Axelar's General Message Passing feature will further extend XRPL functionalities, facilitating smart contract executions across connected blockchains. The deployment is set for May. Additionally, a recent collaboration with Zoniqx aims to ease the tokenization of real-world assets on XRPL.
