The Shiba Inu (SHIB) crypto project recently unveiled a new NFT series called “SHEboshis,” pioneering the Ethereum ERC-404 standard for the first time. This standard merges the traits of ERC-721 (for NFTs) and ERC-20 (for fungible tokens), aiming to increase liquidity and enable NFT fractionalization. The launch aims to capitalize on Ethereum's liquidity, with plans to eventually integrate these NFTs into Shibarium. Despite a launch hiccup where a bug led to over-minting, the team resolved the issue by expanding the SHEboshis collection from 12,000 to 20,000, as explained by developer Kaal Dhairya. This move opens new possibilities for investors and holders in the crypto space.
