Bitcoin traders are concerned as BTC remains stuck in a tight price range despite significant purchases by large holders, or whales. Analyst Peter Brandt warned that Bitcoin could drop below $50,000 if current support levels fail. He suggested that breaking below $60,000 could lead to a further decline to $48,000.

Bitcoin last traded below $50,000 in February, before reaching its all-time high of $73,800. Despite recent volatility, BTC continues to face resistance around $70,000.

Not everyone is pessimistic, though. Some analysts point out that whale entities holding at least 1,000 BTC are near all-time highs, indicating strong confidence among large investors. On-chain data shows whale purchases amounting to $1.3 billion, suggesting bullish sentiment. According to Willy Woo, a bullish phase usually starts when whales begin selling into a price rally.
