Sovereign Funds Boost Bitcoin Holdings

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink disclosed that several sovereign wealth funds have been steadily accumulating Bitcoin, even as its price retreated from a record high of $126,000. He noted that these funds took advantage of the decline, adding more to their positions when the cryptocurrency dropped into the $80,000 range.  

Fink emphasized that the buying strategy is incremental and focused on building long-term holdings rather than short-term speculation. The move highlights growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin, with sovereign funds viewing the asset as a durable investment despite its volatility.
