ធនាគារកណ្តាលអឺរ៉ុបបានព្រមានថា កំណើនយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័សនៃ Stablecoins បង្កហានិភ័យដល់ស្ថិរភាពហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ។ ដោយសារមូលធននីយកម្មទីផ្សាររបស់ពួកគេឥឡូវនេះលើសពី 280 ពាន់លានដុល្លារ ទ្រព្យសកម្មឌីជីថលទាំងនេះអាចស្រូបយកប្រាក់បញ្ញើលក់រាយចេញពីធនាគារតំបន់អឺរ៉ូ ដែលធ្វើឱ្យស្ថាប័នប្រពៃណីចុះខ្សោយ និងរៀបចំឡើងវិញនូវលំហូរប្រាក់នៅក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ។

មន្ត្រីព្រមានថា ការកើនឡើងភ្លាមៗនៃ Stablecoins អាចបង្កឱ្យមានការលក់ទ្រព្យសកម្មបម្រុងយ៉ាងច្រើន រួមទាំងរតនាគារសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ដែលអាចរំខានដល់ទីផ្សារសកល។ បើគ្មានបទប្បញ្ញត្តិអន្តរជាតិដែលមានការសម្របសម្រួលទេ ការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើលបែបនេះអាចកើនឡើងដល់វិបត្តិហិរញ្ញវត្ថុកាន់តែទូលំទូលាយ ដែលបញ្ជាក់ពីភាពបន្ទាន់សម្រាប់អ្នកធ្វើគោលនយោបាយដើម្បីដោះស្រាយភាពងាយរងគ្រោះនៅក្នុងវិស័យ Stablecoin ដែលកំពុងពង្រីកយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័ស។

ECB Warns Stablecoin Risks to Global Finance

The European Central Bank has warned that the rapid growth of stablecoins poses risks to financial stability. With their market capitalization now exceeding $280 billion, these digital assets could siphon retail deposits away from eurozone banks, weakening traditional institutions and reshaping the flow of money in the financial system.  

Officials caution that a sudden run on stablecoins could trigger a fire sale of reserve assets, including U.S. Treasuries, potentially disrupting global markets. Without coordinated international regulation, such a shock could escalate into a broader financial crisis, underscoring the urgency for policymakers to address vulnerabilities in the fast‑expanding stablecoin sector.
