Historical cycle data suggests Bitcoin has left the ‘danger zone’ Analyst

Bitcoin has exited the post-halving “danger zone” and entered a reaccumulation phase, according to crypto analyst "Rekt Capital." On May 13, the analyst updated his Bitcoin market cycle chart, noting that the correction phase following the halving event has ended. Historically, Bitcoin experiences "danger zones" of correction before and after halving events. This cycle saw Bitcoin drop 23% from its mid-March peak to $56,800 on May 1, marking the potential bottom of the danger zone.

 

Rekt Capital believes that if $56,000 was indeed the bottom, the current pullback has lasted 47 days, shorter than the longest 63-day retrace in this cycle. Bitcoin has since recovered, trading above $63,000, indicating a shift to the reaccumulation zone. Despite potential further pullbacks, the analyst is confident in current support levels holding around $60,000, which could lead to a rise to $68,000.

 

Global Macro Investor founder Raoul Pal also noted that global liquidity cycles positively impact crypto, predicting a strong performance in the latter half of the year. Former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes echoed this, expecting sideways trading and accumulation before a market move later in the year, driven by Federal Reserve monetary policy.
