This remarkable growth, particularly in the last six months, has been propelled by the DeFi market's growing interest in liquid restaking tokens, a new field within DeFi that Pendle has been pioneering. The platform has recently expanded its offerings by integrating support for the BNB chain and incorporating real-world assets (RWA), broadening its appeal and utility within the DeFi ecosystem.

Pendle operates by bifurcating DeFi investments into principal tokens (PTs) and yield tokens (YTs), facilitating the trade of future yields and principals in the open market.
