Jito Foundation Returns to U.S.

Jito Foundation, the nonprofit behind Solana’s MEV infrastructure project Jito, announced plans to relocate back to the United States. The move marks a significant shift for the organization, which had previously operated abroad due to regulatory uncertainty in the U.S.  

CEO Lucas Bruder explained that recent legislative progress, including the passage of the GENIUS Act and Congress advancing crypto market structure reforms, created a more favorable environment for blockchain innovation. These developments, he said, give Jito confidence to reestablish its base in the U.S. and continue building Solana’s decentralized infrastructure under clearer regulatory guidance.
