លោក Olaf Sleijpen អភិបាលធនាគារកណ្តាលហូឡង់ និងជាសមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាភិបាល ECB បានព្រមានថា ការប្រើប្រាស់ Stablecoin ភ្លាមៗអាចរំខានដល់គោលនយោបាយរូបិយវត្ថុរបស់អឺរ៉ុប។ លោកបានព្រមានថា ប្រសិនបើវិនិយោគិនប្តូរយក Stablecoin ដែលមានអត្រាប្រាក់ដុល្លារយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័ស ធនាគារកណ្តាលអឺរ៉ុបអាចនឹងត្រូវបង្ខំចិត្តផ្លាស់ប្តូរគន្លងអត្រាការប្រាក់របស់ខ្លួន ជាមួយនឹងផលប៉ះពាល់អវិជ្ជមានដល់អតិផរណា និងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចទូលំទូលាយ។

លោក Sleijpen បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ពីការកើនឡើងយ៉ាងខ្លាំងនៃ Stablecoin ជាប្រាក់ដុល្លារអាមេរិក ដែលបានកើនឡើង 48% នៅឆ្នាំនេះ ដល់លើសពី 300 ពាន់លានដុល្លារ។ ដោយសារតែ Token ជាច្រើនទាំងនេះត្រូវបានគាំទ្រដោយរតនាគារសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ការប្តូរយក Stablecoin យ៉ាងច្រើនអាចបង្កឱ្យមានការលក់ចេញយ៉ាងឆាប់រហ័សនៅក្នុងទីផ្សារមូលបត្រ ដែលបង្កើតហានិភ័យជាប្រព័ន្ធដែលរីករាលដាលពាសពេញប្រព័ន្ធហិរញ្ញវត្ថុសកល។

ECB Warns of Stablecoin Run Risks

Dutch central bank governor and ECB board member Olaf Sleijpen has cautioned that a sudden run on stablecoins could disrupt Europe’s monetary policy. He warned that if investors rapidly redeem dollar-pegged stablecoins, the European Central Bank might be forced to alter its interest rate trajectory, with knock-on effects for inflation and the wider economy.  

Sleijpen highlighted the sharp rise in U.S. dollar stablecoins, which have grown 48% this year to exceed $300 billion. Because many of these tokens are backed by U.S. Treasuries, mass redemptions could trigger swift sell-offs in bond markets, creating systemic risks that ripple across global financial systems.
