ម៉ាល់តា, ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ – ក្រុមហ៊ុនប្តូរប្រាក់គ្រីបតូ OKX ទទួលបានអាជ្ញាប័ណ្ណជាស្ថាប័នទូទាត់ប្រាក់ (Payment Institution - PI) នៅក្នុងប្រទេសម៉ាល់តា ដែលធ្វើឱ្យក្រុមហ៊ុនស្របតាមតម្រូវការបទប្បញ្ញត្តិរបស់សហភាពអឺរ៉ុប ដែលនឹងត្រូវចូលជាធរមានក្នុងខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ ខាងមុខនេះ។

OKX Secures European Payments License for Stablecoin and Crypto Card Expansion

Malta, February 2026 – Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has obtained a Payment Institution (PI) license in Malta, aligning the company with European Union regulatory requirements set to take effect in March 2026.

The license allows OKX to continue offering stablecoin related payment services across the EU in full compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework and the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2). Under updated PSD2 rules, crypto-asset service providers handling stablecoin payments classified as electronic money tokens (EMTs) must hold a PI or electronic money institution (EMI) authorization.

Erald Ghoos, CEO of OKX Europe, said the company recently launched real-world payment products, including OKX Pay and the OKX Card, aimed at bringing stablecoins into everyday use. He noted that securing the PI license ensures these products operate on a fully compliant basis within the EU.

Last month, OKX introduced a crypto payment card in Europe in partnership with Mastercard. Meanwhile, OKX Ventures, the company’s investment arm, has backed stablecoin issuance platform STBL as part of its broader push to support stablecoins in mainstream finance.
