Coinbase Expands Solana Support

Coinbase has expanded its native support for Solana, introducing Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) trading directly within its app. This new feature allows users to trade Solana tokens seamlessly and pay using USDC, cash, bank accounts, or debit cards, marking a significant step in integrating Solana’s ecosystem into Coinbase’s platform.  

The move comes after controversy surrounding the earlier launch of the SOL-Base Bridge on the Base network, which drew mixed reactions from the Solana community. By enabling direct Solana DEX trading, Coinbase aims to strengthen its relationship with Solana users and provide broader access to decentralized finance options.
