Cboe Launches 10-Year Bitcoin and Ethereum Futures

Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) announced it will introduce “continuous futures” for Bitcoin (PBT) and Ethereum (PET) starting December 15, 2025. These innovative contracts are structured with a 10-year horizon and feature daily cash adjustments, offering institutions a way to gain long-term, perpetual-like exposure to crypto assets without the need for constant rollovers.  

By combining extended duration with daily settlement, the contracts aim to enhance capital efficiency and strengthen risk management for professional investors. All trades will be cleared through Cboe Clear U.S. under the oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), ensuring regulatory compliance and institutional-grade safeguards.
