The other three coins being delisted are Aragon (ANT), Multichain (MULTI), and Vai (VAI). These changes will take effect on February 20, 2024. The decision to delist these cryptocurrencies follows Binance's regular review process. The exchange checks whether coins meet its high standards in areas like the development team's commitment, the quality of development, trading volume, liquidity, network stability, public communication, and contribution to a sustainable crypto ecosystem. Binance aims to protect its users by ensuring only high-standard coins are listed. Monero's delisting has caught the crypto community's attention, given its strong market presence and focus on privacy. Its market capitalization stands at $2.6 billion. Following the announcement, the cryptocurrencies involved have reacted differently in the market. ANT recovered after an initial drop, showing strong support from its community. However, MULTI and VAI faced significant price drops, decreasing by 18.76% and 5.61%, respectively. Even Monero, a substantial asset in the crypto industry, saw a decrease in value by 13.82%.
